IT'LL be fun for all ages when federal Regional Australia Minister Simon Crean and children's author Michael Wagner help celebrate the official opening of Craigieburn's $17.7 million Hume Global Learning Centre this Sunday.
With a native animal show, live music and DJ, face painting, arts and crafts, games tournament and an art exhibition, the opening allows families to experience the new centre.
Hume mayor Ros Spence says the opening is a 'come and try day' for people of all ages.
"This facility will cater for the future growth of the Hume community for years to come."
Named the community hub, it includes the new Craigieburn library (which has already attracted 16,877 visitors in its first three weeks), an exhibition gallery, occasional-care program, cafe and council's Craigieburn Customer Service Centre.
Celebrations begin at 11am this Sunday at 75-95 Central Park Avenue.
