BROADMEADOWS returned to the winners' list in North West First XI after overcoming a middle-order slump to beat Williamstown by four wickets.
The Falcons sent Williamstown in at JP Fawkner Reserve and claimed regular wickets in an innings of 9-162 off 45 overs.
Broadmeadows reached 1-96 when disaster struck, a collapse of 5-17 including the wicket of top scorers Assad Vala (60).
Mitchell Streiff (32no) and James McKay (17no) stopped the rot as their 52-run stand guided Broadmeadows to 6-165 in the 43rd over.
Victory lifts Broadmeadows to seventh on the 14-team North West First XI ladder with 24 points, three behind sixth-placed Ivanhoe and ahead of eighth-placed Werribee on percentage.
