Glenroy aims to bounce back

09 Feb, 2010 08:29 AM
GLENROY is hoping to repeat last year's heroics to win back-to-back grand finals in the Moreland Moonee Valley Cricket Association's Bendigo Bank Aturf competition.

After coming from outside the four in the final round to premiers last year, the club is looking to recapture form.

"Last year we came from nowhere and won the premiership, whereas this year we have been in the top four all season," coach Ron McGill said.

"We haven't played as well as we would have liked to this season, we have played really bad in patches."

With captain Warren Parker leading the way with the bat, the side is looking at using the final two rounds to step up its finals campaign.
