ALL the up-to-date cricket scores after Sunday’s second day of weekend play from the NWCA, VTCA and VSDCA.

NORTH WEST CRICKET ASSOCIATION

PASCOE Vale Central successfully defended 130 on Sunday in the George Luscombe Shield as it bowled out Gladstone Park for 101.

Centrals toughed out the conditions on saturday taking 81.2 overs to make its 130, while Gladstone Park was all-out after 61 overs.

Pascoe Vale Central is closing in on a first-innings lead in the Keith Stringer Shield grand final after restricting Clarkefield Brumbies to 7-146 in reply to 198.

Darren Barker has 2-22 as best of the Pascoe Vale Central bowlers so far.

Craigieburn is on top after two days of the Graham Muir Shield final after compiling 349.

Darren Bush made 125 for Craigieburn, while opponent Campbellfield is 5-126 in reply.

Craigieburn is building a lead in its second innings with 4-70 on the board, an overall lead of 159.

Craigieburn made 168 batting first before sharing the wickets in reducing Buckley Park to 79 all-out.

Pascoe Vale Central is still well in arrears of Kealba-Green Gully in the Barrie Clissold Shield final.

The combine has reached 2-52 in its second innings, an overall lead of 142.

Greenvale won the legends shield first innings after Nick Di Medio, Christopher Borg and Nicholas Borg all took 3 wickets in bowling Donnybrook out for 72.

Greenvale had made 181.

VICTORIAN TURF CRICKET ASSOCIATION

Greenvale is well-placed to chase an outright result after three early wickets in Doutta Stars’ second innings in the north division grand final.

Doutta Stars are 3-37, a lead of just three runs.

Greenvale won the first innings but has handed the initiative back to Hoppers Crossing in the north seconds grand final.

Greenvale made 108 in reply to Hoppers Crossing’s 104 in the first innings, but Hoppers second innings is 1-69.

Greenvale is in control in North C3 after reaching 6-195 in reply to Royal Park-Brunswick’s 140.

Jacana has fallen behind Abefeldie Park on the first innings after Aberfeldie reached 7-220 in reply to Jacana’s 216.

Jacana is about to edge back in front of Aberfeldie in North B2, reaching 1-49 in its second innings after suffering a 73-run deficit on the first innings.

VICTORIAN SUB-DISTRICT CRICKET ASSOCIATION

Broadmeadows’ participation in Victorian Sub-District Cricket has been bought to an end for the season after its third XI lost by 34 runs to Yarraville at the weekend.

Yarraville posted 9-270 on Saturday but Broadmeadows could only make 236 off 77 overs in reply.
