POLICE arrested a man after he rammed their car in Broadmeadows early this morning.
Detectives were patrolling the area when they were alerted to a car alarm in Mitre Court about 5.15am.
Detectives stopped to investigate a car which had been broken into, when the bandit in a nearby car tried to drive between the kerb and police car, side swiping their car.
Police arrested the 28-year-old Broadmeadows man who is currently in custody.
