MOTORISTS have been urged to be extra-cautious around schools as students return after the holiday break.
The RACV’s call comes in the wake of 50 pedestrian deaths last year, 28per cent more than the previous year.
Drivers have also been asked to park only in permitted zones and obey school speed limit signs.
