WORKERS at the Ford factory in Broadmeadows got the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Julia Gillard as she toured the plant on Tuesday.
Ms Gillard's visit follows the federal government's announcement on January 10 that it would provide $34million to ensure the Falcon was produced at Broadmeadows until the end of 2016.
Ms Gillard said the boost would provide an extra 300 jobs.
