 Laurie's lost in a maze

Laurie's lost in a maze

31 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
LAURIE Wheaton knows a thing or two about growing corn.

He played a part in growing a two-metre-high corn crop at Homestead Community Garden in Roxburgh Park.

The garden has been operating since late last year and the space is used by residents wanting to grow fresh food.

It's one of the two gardens available for community use.

The other is at Meadows Primary School in Broadmeadows.

Other gardens will be constructed by Hume Council this year in Craigieburn, Goonawarra and Westmeadows.
