THIS year marks the 25th anniversary of a program that has taught hundreds of Hume children and adults how to dance, act, sing and express themselves confidently.
The performing arts program, suitable for males and females of all ages and abilities, was developed to help students gain self-esteem and confidence and co-ordination skills.
Hume Mayor Geoff Porter said it was great people had continued to support the program.
"I encourage all children to get involved. It's great not only for their fitness, but also a way to have fun."
For a low cost, residents can learn dance genres, including jazz, tap, ballet, theatrical, hip-hop, break dancing, Latin and ballroom or take part in multicultural workshops and drama.
Teachers are fully qualified and carefully chosen so each class is enjoyable and interactive.
With more than 400 students taking part each year, the classes are a good way to socialise.
Students also perform an end-of-year concert.
This year the focus will be on celebrating the program's anniversary.
Classes are held at Gladstone Park, Craigieburn, Campbellfield and Sunbury.
