Gathering of Indigenous, African and culturally diverse music & dance on the banks of the Yarra river with traditional smoking ceremony, children’s activities, stalls, workshops and cultural food. FREE
Featuring Black Harmonies CD launch with Kutcha Edwards, Peter Rotumah, Casey Atkinson, Tjimba Possum-Burns, Selwyn Burns, Ajak Kwai, Diafrix, Aminata Doumbia, Michelle Belesy and Joe Geia.
Cultural Stage with Indigenous artists Koori Youth Will Shake Spears, Skye Taikato and Friends, Meriki Hood, Johnny Mac. And friends from the Australian multicultural music and dance scene, the African Royal Drummers, Narasirato Pan Pipers (Solomon Islands), Shiamak Bollywood dance group and the soul pumping vibes of African band Blak Roots.
